Design & Architecture
McCannics Construction have a core team of Architectural Designers and CAD Operatives with assistance from Structural Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.Our design and Architecture team have expertise in planning and drafting, and present drawings and designs to suit your specifications.
Construction
The McCannics construction team has undertaken a number of major building renovations and new builds since the 1998 earthquake. Their skills combined with our engineering team allows for quality assurance from shop floor to building site.
Crane Hire
McCannics Construction have two cranes available for hire. A 20 all terraine crane and a 40 tonne crane mobile crane.
Fabrications & Installations
McCannics Construction have our own workshop located in Gisborne, New Zealand where our highly skilled engineering team can design and fabricate any steel structure to your requirements. Some examples we've done are stainless steel commercial kitchens, handrails and ballustrades.

This construction team, consisting of a variety of skilled tradesmen and builders, has expanded to a size where we now have the resources to tackle the larger construction projects. McCannics has played an important role in seismic strengthening of a variety of buildings in the Gisborne CBD and have also now completed many new retail & commercial building projects.

Our Latest Work
We have recently completed earthquake strengthening on the Grant Bros building on the main street, Gladstone Road, Gisborne, New Zealand.
Currently we are working on the Mayfair building which is commercial offices. This also requires earthquake strengthening and our team of experts are restoring the original facade of the building to ensure the historic building requirements are adhered to,
